I use a plastic coated wire rack that they sell for garage storage and such. I have cusomized it to work for our purpose (for now) it doesn't hold enough though, but I'm out of space in my house so it's going to have to work for now! When the soap is fresh I put it on one of those knitting/sewing plastic things..I'm not sure what they r called but the have the little square holes in them. Anyway they are perfect for letting the airflow in.

I have also been using stainless steel racks and I have never had any problems at all.

When I go to Sam's I grab boxes from there. They have the shallow boxes (that look like the tops from the boxes that a case of printer paper comes in) and you can take them for free. I use those a few times and then toss them. I made room on my bookshelf in my room as well. I put down kraft paper and place it on there.

Aren't you guys worried about the perfumes? Nobody mentioned this so far. I am going to have to rent a lockup or something, I think. Already I have to keep all the perfumes I use in a sealed container. A room full of soap exhaling perfumes, I think, would lead to me becoming allergic sooner or later.

I only use essential oils, and the scent never seems overwhelming to me. It's certainly not like walking into a Yankee Candle store.

Mine are in a closed room, and yes the room smells decently strong, but not overwhelming. I kind of like the smell in there!

Only once when I had a migraine did I have a problem. I had to put them out in the shed b/c the scent was killing me.

I built a soap curing/storage rack and use salvaged oven racks to put the soap on. Soap is directly on the metal racks, doing it for years, no problem.

Finally got a picture of my curing room... I mean dining room! :lol:

We don't use it often, so its become my soap curing laboratory! And it smells GREAT in there!
