I just recently did my first craft fair~ It went so well. I made close to three times the profits all the people around me made! My dad helped me make the old peddlers cart! It turned out so fun! _Amanda

Good for you alittlebee! You have some empty spaces there. Fill them up with more products.

I did have more packed away. The inside of my cart has storage for all my other soaps. I don't have too much product being that it was my first ever sale, I didn't want to over do it and not make any money. I'm more into the organized clutter of things. Sometimes people have so much to look at they don't look at all. But I ended up doing really well, and expanded my supply and built some great old world shelves for my table for next time. Thanks both ladies for your input

I did my first fair last year--a hanukkah fair. It was a real success for me, because not only did I do well at the fair, but people contacted me for months afterwards. It was really the start of my business. I've been asked back this year. Here was last year's table:


The funny thing is that I thought people would be all about the honey and beeswax candles (I'm a beekeeper, so those were the first things I thought of). In fact, what went quickly was the lip balm and lotion bars--which aren't even in the picture! I'm looking forward to year two!

Greenlady sorry for the delay in answering. The one pictured is 4 pieces. It is actually designed for making a horse shoe layout if needed so there is another long piece not pictured. It is made out of light weight wood so I can handle it pretty easy by myself.

It's ok burntmill..that time of year for all of us. Now that the holidays are over...we can unwind a bit! Awesome display! My displays did not last the rest of the year. the shelves were not strong enough to support my heavy glass so I had my hunny build me two stair displays. They turned out good! I love how the stairs get the products up and in the customers line of sight!

I love those stair displays! I only have a couple. I'm hoping I can buy more.

Greenlady, I really like your display! What is your big sign made from? I was thinking about using fabric paint to paint my name & info on a fabric tablecloth that I would cover with a clear vinyl sheet for shows.

yep..vistaprint..this one was actually free (I had a coupon) LOVE IT!! I am going to purchase a larger one soon with the heavy duty outdoor vinyl for my outdoor shows. Vistaprint is really reasonable and they do a ton of sale/free stuff.

Thanks soapbuddy..I am loving my new displays. The best part of them is what u cant see. They are made with a lightweight wood so easy to carry around, plus we put in handles on the outside. And the entire inside is hollow so all my business clutter stashes away where no one can see it. My drink/lunch fits under there as well as my cash box and all my tissue paper and shopping bags...LOVE IT!!!!

I have recently bought two banners from them at downright ridiculously cheap prices and I was very surprised at how nice they were. If you sign up to get mailing from them you will be notified of all kinds of great sales.
My first buy with them was a medium banner for $5 and I got a matching t-shirt for free ans well as a free coffee mug and key chain.
