Your soaps look great, Debbie! Such a nice creamy white color. I've been thinking about trying to make a batch of castile soap lately ... maybe I'll give that a whirl soon.

Ohh very nice!!! I'm planning to make a batch of castille once I get my new wooden mold! Hopefully in a couple weeks. Did you add scent to it Debbie?

Here are some better pics, I finally remembered where my camera was! Luckily my ipod and retainer case were in the same bag LOL, so I have those again now too!

This is Spots! (Batch #1) with the spots clearly visible. This batch is bergamot:


This is Mad Scientist (Batch #2). This batch is banana bark and bamboo (not banana leaf like I previously said) the nice purple is easier to see here, as are the blemishes from condensation dripping off the lid while I was gelling it


I'm super proud of both batches and planning to do #3 and #4 once I get back from Montreal in a little over a week.

I'm going to TRY to do some heart embeds in MP for Valentines, assuming I can get some clear soap in time. Unfortunately when I have tried to do hearts in the past they always got messed up, Just can't get my temp right for the soap over the embed *shakes fist*

Thanks everyone. soapbuddy-I use the TD from BB so it's water and oil soluble. jrose-the plumeria moved super fast so the swirls were more seperated than what I was going for, but turned out great anyway. Bubbles-the sweet pea moved fairly fast for me, I am noticing that a lot of my florals for spring have been moving fairly quick. I was glad I chose layers instead of a swirl!! I figure the plumeria/sweet pea will be both for valentines day and spring I was trying to stick with a look that would work for both!

again thanks everyone. I also did a sea glass/spunky violet/energy/white ginger/and white lily and amber soaps. I will post some more pics soon!!!

I just cut a batch of soap for Valentine's day. This is one of the bars. I know I won't be able to do that again.
