Which is best to use in CP; whole oatmeal, ground oatmeal, or colloidal oatmeal? And how much would one use in a 2 pound batch which also has 1 TSP of chamomile powder? =D

I purchase whole oatmeal and used 1 cup in my 1kilo batch (I think that's about a 2 pounds)...

For exfolation I would use Irush cut (or steel cut) oats since they stay rough. Otherwise any oatmeal will do. It soaks up water from the soap and softens.

Its for soothing properties mostly, was thinking of using the colloidal.

I used old fashioned oats that I ground up in a coffee grinder, and even with gelling, they stayed nicely scrubby (if that's what you want).
