Even my fully gelled lard soap was soft on the bottom after 24 hours. Here I was blaming on the pour castor oil!

Her lard is 100% pig tallow. I read it on the label =D

Interesting--my last few batches have been softer at the 24 mark than before... and I just started a new olive oil. Old one was pomace, but I didn't have a chance to get back tot he store that sold that, so I used EVOO from the grocery store (and reran the recipe through a calc). Now I'm suspicious!

The actual EVOO brand from Loblaws? That one is 100% first pressed cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, its a nice one =)

Heh, was my parents money, so its all good =D They like to support crafting adventures =D I hope this batch works out, It'd be super expensive to fly to Aussieland and yell at your oils to make them function properly! *pokes the olive oil* get to work mister! hehe
