It was in the fridge for 24 hours, then set aside for 2 days, then unmolded and cut. The inside is about as soft as the outside was when I took it from the fridge.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

This is my banana leaf and bamboo CP with chamomile powder. The chamomile made the purple a little bit mauve, but I love how it looks =D It's currently wrapped in a towel nestled near a nice toasty radiator (not too toasty, just enough to keep the room from being a refrigerator!). Either the FO or the chamomile powder accelerated trace a little, but not too badly! It's not actually lighter at the edges, that's just my flash on my 15 year old camera reflecting off the freezer paper!

Thanks Irena! Dad walked in on me in my lab coat, all geared up to work with lye, and gasped "OMG a mad scientist!" So I changed my signature to accommodate my new title, and am naming this soap concoction Mad Scientist =D Its pretty funny, I always said I wanted to grow up to be a mad scientist, I just never imagined my medium would be soap!

I just checked to make sure it wasn't overheating or anything, looks like its in full gel! I took the lid off though, moisture was dripping off of it into my soap and made some blemishes The yellow is now almost a dark peachy yellow, its super pretty! Can't wait to cut it and post pics in a couple days =D

Coolah, I watched about 4 billion hours of youtube to learn how to do those swirls! LOL, I'm so helplessly addicted to youtube cp techniques!

This is a plastic shoe box from Home Depot. Cost me 67 cents! Makes 12 medium sized bars. Will do me until I get to the US and procure a nice 9 bar mold from BB =D

I just know this: don't try waxed paper. It sticks to the soap and is an oily mess! I won't say how I know this, but I do!

Oh yeah, try a butcher's shop. Butcher's paper is usually plasticized like freezer paper. Its just brown rather than white.
