Hello everyone.

I am still in my "research" phase before trying to make some CP soap.
Something I have seen anywhere is how to clean up your soap making equipment when your done. Sounds silly I guess but I want to be sure to clean up well because I have three small kids.

I am sorry if I gave the impression that I would use soap making equipment for eating or preparing food. That is not what I intend to do even if it is safe. I was just curious, thats all.

I LEAVE all my pots and stirring utensils...soap coated. They go on a top shelf...and do not get cleaned until the NEXT soaping session which is usually a week or two later. I make 4 batches at a time...my 2 molds hand made by my husband have a divider in the center which allows for me to achieve 80 bars total of soap with 4 fragrances (20 bars each). Most of my shows I take the same soaps...lavender, oatmeal milk and honey, applejack peel, and a 'holiday' soap (whichever holiday we are closest to). I do have other fragrances...which I bring too...but the gm, lav, and apple are my best sellers. So I keep those stocked all the time...

OH....and my husband's job when we are soaping...is to clean the POTS from the last go! LOL :lol:
