Sooo... my castor oil soap is soft too, probably the same as Coolah's, though my bars are only 1 inch-ish thick. You guys think they will firm up in the next 2 months or so? >.>

On page 2, have a look at my green bars - the one with the super mangled piece lol. Those are hard now.

So that's like... a week?

Would have been nice if it was a BIT harder so I could have cut it up without mangling it :wink:

Although I was reading about CPOP soaping last night and my eyes lit up at cutting the cure time down to 2 weeks ahah! :lol:

I plan on doing both! :lol:

Actually, I really love being able to do the intricate detailed molds (like that flippin frog one I can't get to work) so will be using MP for that - I want to do a line of kids soaps. And will be using my CP for my swirling and other batches.

We use sodium lactate and also a water discount and soap is super hard by the next morning. Sometimes even tough to cut.
