Teach Soap

Looking to sell MP soap, I have business id and need advice. I have orders coming in from coworkers and plan to sell every sunday at a local swap meet. Also I look to sell on ebay and at buckler's craft fair when it comes to town again. Any advice?

Welcome! Do you have a resale license? Liability insurance? I'm not sure what you mean by business ID. How will you be charging tax?

I have a tax id through my ex husband's dad's business. We are supposed to be able and sit down to discuss how exactly it will work after the holidays.

Oh ok. I got thrown when you asked if she had a resale license. I think that might mean something different over here. To me that indicates buying a large quantity of something (same MP Base) and reselling to individuals. Not the actual making of MP soaps to sell. If that makes sense...

Yes, here in California it's commonly called a resale license, but it is also called a seller's permit. I'm not sure how it would work using someone else's number unless you are buying their entire business.
