I just came across the blog/forum/brambleberry website regarding soap making while looking for "coal" products for a gag gift for a friends kids . . . . and saw the recipe for coal soap on the soap queen blog.

i was really reeled in on all the projects nad interesting ways to make different types of soaps and bath products.

I have been recently diagnosed w. a degenerative eye disorder and had to quit my job so im always looking for ways to fill my time doing something enjoyable - my main question is that id like to start making soaps and experiemnting some but on a limited budget.

ive researched different colorants but it seems a tad confusing - is there one type of colorant for m&p soaps that is the most versatile? im assuming the non-beleeding ones would be the most useful. . .. but the solid or liquit , etc? . ... anything else that you would reccomend advice or tips for a beginner on a limited budget would be awesome

thank you,
ameya

ps - is there a way to increase font size on this forum? ty again
