Can I add real honey to m&p or is honey powder prefered?

I would add very little, otherwise it will make your soap sticky (or soft). I would use regular honey. Honey powder is harder to dissolve in a MP base.

Hi, BathGoodies. I sometimes add honey to my M&P soap. I use 1 teaspoon of regular liquid honey per pound of base. Like soapbuddy says, if you add too much your soap can get sticky, so I use it sparingly. :)

I have tried the honey in my recipe, and TOTALLY LOVE IT!!!! Such a great addition, soo moisterizing and smells great! :D

yup! i add 1 teaspoon of regular liquid honey to my soap. works wonderful and adds a nice honey glow.
