Teach Soap

Just curious, has anyone ever used, or read of, any recipe consisting largely or entirely of Sweet Fennel Essential Oil in regards to soapmaking?
I recently received a free sample of this EO, and LOVE it, and would like to try using some in a batch of melt-and-pour soap, but have not read much about it anywhere, or of recipes or blends containing it. I realize that it is similar to Anise EO, and I have read that that one can be very overpowering, but it is not exactly the same either, so I thought I would ask here first before rushing out and buying some.

Any advice here would be helpful.

I made a CP soap and used fennel,lemongrass and rosemary EO,I can't remember the ratio, but it was to die for,one women has that soap in the draw for aromatherapy...I bought more fennel myself....

1.1% of the final soap made with spice oils is on the high side. I can see how that would be irritating to the skin. I would have done half that.
