Teach Soap

Hey guys! My name is Heather, I'm a Canadian in the process of moving to NJ and I like to use crafting as a good stress reliever. And oh boy is the immigration process stressful!! I'm into all sorts of crafts; soaps, candles, jewelry, drawing, scrapbooking, loom knitting... all sorts of things! I've been doing MP soaps for about 15 years now and I did one batch of HP, yesterday actually. It turned out great but I think I want to do CP instead, I can be more creative with it and it seems a lot less fussy! After I spent ALL night last night watching CP techniques on youtube (probably for ~12 hours, I completely lost track of time!) I went on to canwax.ca and ordered myself some shiny new things so I can get into CP! I HAVE to get the basics down! I saw the pillar pour method and I must work my way up to that!

Yesterday while making my HP the furnace maintenance man peeked in to ask a question and started to laugh, here I was in a lab coat, mask, goggles and gloves with a stick blender in my hands. He probably thought i was nuts! I had just yelled out WOOHOO! after getting my batch to heavy trace without issue. Ohh the joy of crafting!

I suspect I'll be full of many questions in the next little while, but I'm also full of information! If anyone has questions on candle craft please feel free to ask! I've been making candles since I was ~9, so just slightly over 20 years. I love to help! So feel free to pm or email me =)
