Brand new to this site and I am so happy to be here. I am fairly new to m&p soap making and would like to ask the best way to make a really good moisturing soap with fragrance. I have shea butter m&p, jojoba oil, glycerin m&p, goats milk and other items. I am not sure the right formula (if there is one) for the best results. :oops: Any advise from you masters? :wink: :wink: :wink:

Welcome to the forum, MissCoco! You can add small amounts of oils, butters, or other additives to your base, but you don't want to add too much or you might decrease the lather or end up with soft, sticky soap. I don't think I would add liquid goat's milk to M&P base, though - it could spoil.

I would start with a high-quality M&P base, like the SFIC bases that Bramble Berry carries. A great base makes all of the difference. I personally love the goat's milk and olive oil bases. :)
