Denise, those are fabulous! Only four batches? You are very talented/creative. I really love the little babies.... I saw that mold once - looks like you have two of them- I am jealous, I'll have to start saving my pennies. Thanks for sharing.

So when you do a top like those in the previous pics do you take CP that has thickened and put it in a frosting decorater and pipe it onto the top? Has anyone ever done this with HP soap? Maetessa, and Powell, are you up for the challange??? Cause I'm dying to try this.

I like the muted colors and the sparkle on the top. Piping gives it nice dimension.

Denise those are to pretty to wash with. Love those baby molds. I have never seen those before. Where did you find those molds. Your color is fab. I am very impressed. I am going to have to show this to a friend of mine. What kind of FO did you use?

I saw those on Amazon. Thank you. I made some Castile for my new Grandbaby and I mixed Baby Bee with another baby fragrance and it smelled really good. I would have to get up to see exactly which ones. Yours looks so sweet I think you could use any child type fragrance and it would be great. Thank you so mucy for sharing your gorgeous creations.

Hi, all. Last week I made another batch of beer soap. I loooove beer soaps! I've been wanting to make a sort of citrus-y beer soap for a while, and thought that Blue Moon would be a great beer to use. I had a couple of bottles in the house, so I paired it with a Balsam & Citrus FO. These soaps are ungelled. I usually like to gel my soaps, but I decided to try ungelled with this batch. I had only an ounce of this FO left, so I figured I could use less FO if I didn't gel, and I didn't want the beer to make things overheat.

I wish I could say that all of the bars look this creamy and beautiful. I soaped cool with cold beer, used a thin plastic mold (which I chilled beforehand), and put the batch in the fridge. Despite all of my efforts, I still got a partial gel on some of the bars in the middle of the loaf. Perhaps the freezer would have been a better place for my soap, if I could have found room for it. And I played around with the tops for a while, trying to get some texture that I liked.

Oh, well, I guess I'll just have to keep the partially gelled soaps for myself!

Looks good to me! Those circles should go away after the soap cures.
