I've been looking all over the place for fun/creative/unusual soap molds, but I haven't had much luck. I did find an awesome website which had a ton of great molds (Mold Market), but I still can't find what I'm looking for. Can I use molds for candy? I know a lot of them aren't deep enough, but does anyone out there have experience with a deep candy mold? Also, I know I could make my own molds, but I just don't have the time or the artistic ability. I'm looking for molds that aren't generic/typical/common ... maybe fashion molds like lipstick and high heels. Any input is much appreciated!!

I've used a lot of molds that are actually sold as ice cube molds

You can find neat stuff all over the internet. My favorite brand for creative, unique stuff is fred and friends. They are silicone mold, so easy to pop the soap out! You can find tons of that brand at www.perpetualkid.com and I've even found several ice cube molds at dollar tree and dollar general for only a buck! I recently got pumpkins, skulls, and skull & crossbones for a dollar

I've found it quite hard finding unusual molds in the UK so tend to stick to loafs and silicone molds and just use cutters to shape if needed.

Thanks everyone! I ended up getting a couple of the silicone baking molds and I really enjoy them. Does anyone know if these molds are dishwasher safe? I bought them forever ago and threw out the packaging so I'm not sure. I used one mold for bath bombs, but they aren't coming as clean as I would like them to due to the small grooves in the design.

The silicone ones are dishwasher safe, I'd put them in the top rack though. The plastic candy ones are not though, I know from experience
