Teach Soap

I've got some powdered goats milk and powdered coconut milk from FNWL that I purchased quite a while back. Planning on taking some of my water, pre lye, to make a slurry which I'll add to the mix after I add the lye water. (Figure this way, I'll get less discoloration/burnt milk)

My problem is that I don't know how much to use. Any idea how many tablespoons/teaspoons to use that would give me the equivalent of 8 oz of "fresh" milk? (I can work out the math from there depending on the batch size.)

I use powdered goats milk too and for a 4 1/2 lb. batch I use 1 oz. ( or about 4 rounded tbls. and 8 oz. of water . I use 8.4 oz. of ( ice water) to mix with lye . I add the goats milk in after I've mixed the oils and lye together. That way it never scorches the milk and I get a nice creamy white soap. Hope this helps
