Teach Soap

I saw the some of the most gorgeous soaps here: I was so intrigued with the look I wanted to recreate the effect. With some help from some forum friends I learned how this might be done and here is my result.

hi all this is my first no gel, its scented with lavender and i luv the color. and its very creamy and lots of lather i think ive finally mastered my recipe. (soapie dance) i cant wait until its cured!! its amazing the diff between gel and no gel lol its has taken 3 days just to remove from the mold plus another day to cut, not sure but i think i left it in the freezer too long ( 6 hrs )

Looks good! You can safely leave your soap in the freezer overnight. Yes, ungelled soaps tend to be softer, but should cure out the same.

Christmas cupcake soaps!










I just love Christmas, and Cupcakes LOL Rather than eating cupcakes and getting fat, I can wash with one made from lots of lovely fats and oils without worrying about my weight!

Cat, I love the soap and the video... you are very intertaining. I think the soap turned out well for its name. Can i ask what size your cheese cutter is?

Ashlee, such a pretty soap. I have many friends that would love you for doing a plain lavender.... I always seem to mix it up on them.

Soaphel, those are fantastic. The snowmen are soooo cute but the tree is my favorite. You are very talented. If you did make them into 'real' cupcakes I would want one!

WOW ladies all beautiful. Sadly I'm going through soap withdrawls right now. I haven't had a day off in like a month so not time to soap, it is getting depressing and I am itching to get started, I've even started day dreaming about what my next bar will be. I must be crazy LOL. I gave my sister some soap some soap when she came down few weeks ago and she says how do you fit that in and isn't it alot work. I told her it was therupeutic and relaxing to make then when I cut it I have something cute and useful LOL.
