Teach Soap

I know this sounds strange, but I have friends competing in a 6 month contest for growing beards. They are using regular shampoo on their faces or just regular face wash/soap but asked if I could make them something.

My question, has anyone ever made any type of soap specifically for facial hair? Would you think more of a shampoo bar, or more of a facial bar. I find this one sort of odd because I don't want to make their facial hair weird, or cause problems for their face.

Depending on the thickness of the beard, I would use liquid soap with maybe some rosemary oil (for its hair growing properties). Liquid would penetrate the thickness better that a solid bar of soap.
