Teach Soap

If I use it, do I have to have a disclaimer on all of my soaps that it's made in a kitchen that uses it? Same as when food is made in a factory that has nuts?

People with allergies normally read any labels. Just list the almond oil on your ingredient listing.

Thank you for the quick reply. That I realize, labeling the soap that is, but do I have to worry about cross contamination? Say I use a soap that does not have it in it, but may have trace amounts? I may just not ever use it at all and just stick to grape seed oil

If you use the almond for other things, then yes, there is a chance of cross contamination. For someone that has severe allergies to nut oils, that trace amount can make them sick.

Thanks. I don't really have a NEED to use it, so I think I'm just not going to if that's the case.

If you don't need it for anything else, I would use another oil instead.

I am wondering if with such allergies it is an issue in a wash off product? It's not like they are gonna eat it. I have been a nurse for years and have never heard of someone with a nut allergy having issues topically but then we don't exactly coat them in nut oil.
