Should you superfat the recipe? Or is that the same as water discount?

I put it in soap calc and the qualities are all wacked. The only number in the soap quality range is creamy, but just barely. It has a 0 in the cleansing-so does it not clean well?

Soapbuddy, you say you don't like it. Is there anyone out there that does?(obviously I guess some do or it wouldn't be made ) Maybe I should rephrase: Who on this forum likes/uses/sells it? What are some benefits?

First; just because the numbers on soap calc do not fall within the range does not mean it is not good soap... I have had some that were not very cleansing that did a great job. You are better off testing your own soap and listening to others who use it.
Next: I have never made a true castile because I add castor oil to mine for a few bubbles! I do like it as a face soap, or as a baby soap as long as you allow time for it to cure as soapbuddy does. Now remember that babies do not get real dirty... actually they could get by without soap, but most moms choose to use something. I also do not add color or fragrance to this if I intend to give it to someone for their baby.
Can't help you with the selling part as I have never 'sold' a bar of soap.... I have tooo much fun giving it away.

Castile soap is made with only olive oil. It is pure Olive Oil soap. It takes longer to cure properly, but the quality of the soap is amazing.

Gelling soap intensifies any color you might be using, non gelled soaps stay a more muted or pastel color.

To me personally I think ungelled soap has a more creamy feel when rolling it around in your hand than a fully jelled soaps. That's just me I imagine.
