Labcolors are great for melt and pour; but like PJ alluded to - they do bleed (meaning, the lines won't stay crisp and clean in the embedded objects).

My fave soap colors for melt and pour are micas. You can make most colors with a good Pearly White mica and a Labcolor.

If you're doing intricate designs like this:

you'll want non-bleeding pigment-based colors. For MP, suspended in glycerin is the most ideal.

Thank you for posting the soap colorants list, it is very beneficial.
Would anyone like to share pics of soaps made using these non bleeding colors and micas in mp? I love a visual and would really appreciate a peek at actually seeing the colors used.

How does one go about mixing oxides in glycerin for ease of use?
Do they end up speckly or will they disperse throughly?
