What are some of your favorites for CP? I feel like I"ll have a different "feel" for my fragrances for my MP versus CP.

My 3 top favorites are: patch, leather and arabian spice. The most requested fragrance by family and friends is oatmeal, milk and honey. I have only two people ask for a particular soap receipe but they usually do ask for a fragrance. And no one has been particular about the coloring... yet I ponder and worry about those colors and swirls.... go figure!

I only make soap for family but I can never seem to make enough "Energy". That's the one that everyone seems to like.

Bubble2 - I still get a charge at your affinity for leather scent!

Dave, I just made a leather and moonlight pomagranit. I LOVE it. I gave one to a friend of mine and she just mentioned that everyday when she wakes up she has to smell that bar of soap   I think I just happen to like the deep earthier scents. But then again - I don't mind wearing leather! :P

That sounds very interesting to me. Speaking of workshops, I used to sit in my grandfathers as a child and loved the smell of the cut wood (he was a carpender). Maybe I should go on the hunt for that scent as well....fresh cut wood or wood shavings.

I love the smell of leather, too. I used to do leather crafts when I was younger, but got away from it when I had kids. I've been checking into it again and may start making gun holsters. My husband said there is a good market for hand-tooled holsters. maybe I can make a leather soap to go with the holsters  :!: :?:

Susie let me know when you find that kind of wood scent. My dad had a workshop in the basement and I loved the smell of fresh cut wood and sawdust. Everytime I go to a lumber yard I find myself inhaling deeply.
Linda leatherworking sounds so cool. I know that would go over very big here in Oklahoma!

Btw I went and ordered that Santas workshop FO. I'll let you know what I think. I also ordered a grass FO and dirt FO. Years ago I bought a soy candle and the fragrance was called fresh mown hay. It was amazing. Any ideas on finding one with that fragrance?

To get a woodshop scent how about trying cedarwood EO. It's not as "sappy" smelling as the other pines from what I understand. Maybe if you need to round it out could try a moss type FO with it or a sandlewood you think? Ive never tried Cedarwood EO..They say its good for acne type skin. might make a good face soap. Wow, I think Im going to get that in next years lineup.
