Teach Soap

All of you ladies swirls came out beautiful. And even though your first mantra swirl didn't come out the way you wanted i thought it was gorgeous. Sometimes the soaps that come out different than our expectations are the best.. I love looking at your wonderful everyone it is very inspirational

Here are a couple more soaps I made for the holidays. I've been making a few batches over the past couple of weeks to give to friends and family as Christmas gifts.

Here's a Gingersnap soap (scented with BB's Gingersnap). I held back some unscented soap and colored it with gold mica and swirled it into the tops. I'm hoping over time that the FO will discolor the scented portion to an even darker brown so the lighter swirls show up better.



Here's an ITP swirl scented with a Christmas tree scent (Element's "Rocky Mountain Christmas"). I'm loving the ITP technique!

jrose, the gingersnap sounds awesome (I love me some gingersnaps ), I hope it darkens up the way you want The Christmas tree ITP swirl is gorgeous! I have serious swirl envy here

CP newbie who's turning into a soaping addict!

Ok so here is batch #2 of my HP soap I swirled it after the cook and it is scented with sweet pea fragrance oil. Am I correct in that the longer you cure even HP soap the harder the bar will be? [URL=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/192/soaps001.jpg/

Very nice carolynp! Any soap that's allowed to cure should get a bit harder, but it also depends if you used soft or hard oils.

Carolyn, I love the color. Have never tried sweetpea, but a bottle of it is sitting in my basement.

thanks so much all, I added my colorant with a small amount of glycerin and swirled it through,sooooo much tougher than M&P I tell you,but I am determined to have pretty HP soaps,I really like the look of soaps that have the different colored spirals mixed through ,I am thinking of doing my colored spirals in my nice smooth M&P,which i can color easily,any one do a combo of CP/HP and M&P?
