Hi all,
A couple of questions. Tell me, do you discount your sodium hydroxide to superfat it or do you use the full amount for complete saponification?

Also, it seems CP soap is a natural soap. Which colorant is the most natural and mildest on the skin. The Ultrmarines, Oxides or the Pigments?

Thank you for your help! I'm getting my information together and hope to make my first log of CP soap soon.

Discount your sodium hydroxide to superfat with a % solution ie: 33%

As far as Ultrmarines, Oxides or the Pigments, they are made in the lab these days. You can use clays or hebal infusions for natural color.
