Teach Soap

Hi everyone-

I wanted to give a little love to BB and Anne Marie- I recently got my 9 bar Birch mold (sales have slowed up so batches have gotten smaller sadly) and I love this thing. It's so beautifully made and will last me years. I have soaped for so many years and only a couple of my molds have stood the test of time. I imagine this one will be one of them.
So Kudo's Anne Marie- awesome mold and perfect bar size as well.

But I do have a couple of questions for anyone who uses these.

I did my batch CPOP- I don't keep the heat on I just preheat at 170 and turn it off when I stick the soap in the oven. Anyone have any idea when I can unmold and will my soap stick to the dividers?

Congrats on your new mold! I don't have that mold, so can't help you with unmolding question.

That is with MP though, so the only big difference is to SLIDE the dividers away from the soap, do not pull them away. =)

I unmolded and only had 1 mishap- even though I had slide not pull in the back of my head. LOL

The soap after about 18 hours just pretty much fell off. I thought it would be alot harder, so now I have another reason to love this mold.

I'm going to take a wild stab that if I don't gel- I can unmold after 5 days to be on the safe side.
