Ok, I don't post on the forum much I live in Illinois & I have spent alot of time googling for supplies. The one thing I do when looking for SFIC M&P, I search different companies for who may have it on sale which hopefully will make up for some of the shipping or a company on the east who sells SFIC. I used to order it from a company in Kentucky but now that business is gone.
The one company that I know that has a minimum with free shipping includes the shipping in their price and believe me some of their products have really gone up in price. I have tried a company in Michigan because the shipping was cheaper & one in Ohio, but I didn't feel the quality was worth the savings in shipping. I have tried different companies for essential oils, butter, fragrance oils, & etc. Like soapbuddy I have found that BB has the best quality of products.
I would love BB or anyone to start a supply business on the east side of the Mississippi to save on shipping.
Maybe it's just me but I think making bath & body products requires alot of researching of all sorts.

It's quite obvious that BB is the #1 company to go to for all of your soaping needs (or what I like to call a 1 stop soaping shop!), however their biggest problem appears to be the cost of shipping and the amount of time it takes for people on the East Coast to get their packages. It seems to me that it is very necessary for BB to open another location that is closer to the East Coast or adjust the way they ship to the East Coast.


Please note: I am brand new to soaping and have only placed 1 order with BB. I did not have any problems at all with placing my order, with shipping costs (just under $16 for $60 worth of products), or with the shipping time which took a total of 1 week. However, I can see how this can add up very quickly especially since I only bought samples. I know that soap making isn't a cheap hobby, but perhaps there is something that can be done to help alleviate unnecessary costs since money is tight for mostly everyone.

I am in Ma as well . I emailed them and let them know how great it was to find them ,i agree that they don't have a hug e selection but if each of out here in Ma, encourage them it will be good for all. there are still things that I will only use BB for ,you can not beat ther FO's
