Teach Soap

So I have tons of soaping oils and butters as well as a few EO's is there anyway I can make a really good scar cream at home? I have never bought the ones I see at the store they are quite expensive but I have a fairly ugly scar on my lip from a car accident several months ago and was hoping to reduce the coloring and appearance of it. Any ideas ladies? thanks

I find Helichrysum and Vit K work the best.

Thanks so much Irene. I just looked at BB and they do not have Helichrysum is there a vendor you could recommend? I hate using unknown online vendors as many are low quality and irrepuatable thanks again.

I "second" soapbuddy's vote for helichrysum. I use it in a lot of my products. I buy mine (after a LOT of research) from a company that sells on ebay. Their prices beat absolutely everyone. Their ebay name is wf-medical. They regularly have buy 3, get one free on their smaller bottles, too.

Yes, it is always" buyer beware" with EOs, I just had to get some refunded from another seller on ebay.
I do understand that Patchouli varieties vary quite a bit, I have smelled some that I love and hate from the same supplier.
I keep careful notes about which oils "work" from which vendors, both in quality and price.
From this particular vendor, I currently only order the helichrysum and rose geranium. He has good quality on a number of other things, like tea tree and lemongrass, but I order those in great big bottles from someone else.
Oddly, I have to get my German blue chamomile from a local vendor - sky high prices, but extremely high quality. I have ordered it from a lot of others, and it is always diluted, even if they deny it and insist it is "pure and uncut".
Hence the recent refund event .

Ok so I got the helichrysum do I add a drop to the vit k and rub it on or whop it with some shea? How do I make it and how much do I use. Or do I just add to stnd lotion base? Thanks

Straight, It was more expensive that way but I figured it would last longer and be more versatile that way.
