Teach Soap

Here is my recipe -
Total oil weight 2lb.
Water as percent of oil weight 38 %
Super Fat/Discount 7 %
Lye Concentration 26.292 %
Water : Lye Ratio 2.804:1
Lye - NaOH 0.271 4.337 122.964

1 Apricot Kernal Oil 5%
2 Coconut Oil, 76 deg 20%
3 Castor Oil 6%
4 Palm Oil 12%
5 Olive Oil 50%
6 Cocoa Butter 7%

I used cow's milk ice cubes for the water and sprinkled the lye over slowly while I stirred. It turned yellow then curdled. Pressing forward I put the solution in my oils-all were room temp-the lye milk was not hot either. I stick blended smooth (no curdle chunks). I then put in a 1/2 ounce of finely ground oatmeal. Even though it seems like things have already gone awry, it actually gets worse. I put in an ounce of Chai FO. I couldn't smell anything except the lye milk stink, so what did I do? Threw in some vanilla FO. Still no real smell except stink. Think ammonia with a little rank mixed in. I crossed my fingers and put it in the mold. It superheated up, and I had just a bit of some free floating oil on the top. Think greasy. I just got done cutting the bars this afternoon. They are a caramel color, which I expected from the FO's, but it is the smell that was really bad. The bars are curing in the garage right now. I didn't even want them in my house.
Is this all normal with cow milk soap? Will the stink go away? If not normal, did it all go wrong starting with the curdled milk, or was it the choice of using all milk in the first place? Any help will be appreciated!

I haven't plugged in your recipe but ANY milk recipe I've made (goats, cow, almond, cream) all smell bad not so bad their exiled LOL for me it always dissipates then the FO comes through but I can always smell tinge of it to start. I would see what the more experienced ladies and gents say though. Personally I'd wait it out

Any milk based soaps will smell like ammonia at first. Give them some time and that smell should go away.
