I am just wondering what are the white spots in my soap. what could that be?

Could be titanium dioxide if used or unmelted staric acid from one of your soapmaking oils. What is your recipe? At what temp did you combine your oils and lye water?

I get white spots in my soap too. They do not zap and they are not clumps of anything, just small discolored spot. I would love to know why it happens too.
