Sage and basil soap. My first oil infusion. I made the infusion using fresh sage in the morning and used it at night in my soap. The lye instantly turned it brown but when put next to some of my other soaps they have a slight green tint. I also suspended dried basil in the soap batter for visual interest. The sage scent comes through too! Let's see if it lasts.

Natalie, great looking soap. I love the smell of herbs, in fact I have been drying some from my garden for the past month! Rosemary is my favorite with sage being next in line.

Natalie, those soaps look wonderful! I dried a bunch of herbs from my garden and want to make some soap using infusions, but I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder and can't do anything right now.

Thank goodness for soap porn! :lol:

Hi everyone! I made some cucumber yogurt soap yesterday and thought I'd show it off! I'm so pleased with it! When I added the yogurt and lye together it went a horrible orange colour :shock:

but it settled to this lovely pastel-green colour which I'd take over bright orange any day of the week!
