Granted my house is warm but.................when I got out my shea butter there was quite a difference between butters from 2 different vendors. The butter from Brambleberry was its usual firm consistency. The one from another vendor was the consistency of shortening. It did not come that way.Thoughts????

Refined vs unrefined can make a difference in texture.

I have ultra refined and it's pretty firm. I bought some from another vendor that was suppose to be the same thing and it was dry and crumbly. I would contact this vendor and ask. Maybe they made a mistake?

I am new o soap making. I haven' made any yet but I know Shea butter. If it's crumbly it's unrefined and I swear by how well it moisturizes.
