I'm a new soaper and have been playing around with the soapcalc calculator. I'm still fuzzy on the total weight in oil thing. It defaults to 16oz or 1 pound - what happens if you increase it? what exactly is it for?

Thanks!

Plugging in a total weight will let the calc give you specific measurements for your batch size -- if you build your recipe and then hit the "View or Print Recipe" button at the bottom, it'll give you a nice table with percents, ounces and grams and all for your batch. :)

For example, my test mold holds about 23 ounces of oils (odd number, I know.. XD) so I use 23 oz as my total weight so I can get the exact measurements I need for a batch.
