Fantastic soaps, BAMA! I love the swirl on the Ylang Ginger especially, that is really sharp looking :3 The molds look great too -- makes me itchy to make one. The putting together I can deal with, but I've got no saw at the moment for cutting the wood to size! Glad to know they'll cut it to such small pieces for you!

Anita, those are really lovely! I have that ginkgo-leaf mold but I've never used it, nice to see how well the detail comes out!


After a few weeks away from the soap, I doubled up this weekend!


Chai spice. I colored it with strong tea as the lye water, but it's not as dark as I expected. XD; It's all right for what it is, though, I think. Maybe next time I'll add one more teabag.


Chocolate! My first try at layers, too. I wanted to make the top look a bit more "whipped" but when it finally got set enough to hold a shape, I couldn't figure out what to do with it...


And OMH, the last soap I did before my unwanted break. These smelled, surprisingly, like graham crackers for a while. I guess grain + honey.... XD Unfortunately the scent doesn't really linger -- one of my friends wanted me to make smore soap with that concept but I don't think it'd work out.

Jenova, your soaps are very artistic! Did you use a FO for the OMH? I have never had a problem with the scent sticking in this one!

Thanks, Bubbles! The OMH is unscented -- just straight up oatmeal, honey and powdered goat's milk I wanted to see if there *was* any scent before I started playing with FOs, and I didn't really expect there to be one, so the graham cracker thing surprised me.

Thanks, guys! :3 The tea was so nice and straightforward to do, but it *did* smell kinda unholy when I mixed the lye in. Maybe it was just coincidence, but for the 2-3 months I've been soaping, that was the only instance where I felt the need to cough. XD;
