Teach Soap

Hello everyone, had a horrible Fall Season with my Pumpkin Soaps last year. I make a marble looking organe and brown Pumpkin Spice soap, last year I ran out of FO and the company I used changed and the one I received turned my soap so dark it was just all dark brown I have been looking on line for a new company to order from, but would rather order one tried and true than guess and miss the Season 2 years in a row. I see BB say's their Pumpkin FO will turn dark brown too. Anyone know of any that will either not turn or just turn tan, rather than brown. Thanks I know I can just add FO to the darker part, but would rather fragrance entire batch with this because I love this one to be real strong! My favorite soap of the year

Have you tried pumpkin pureee with some oatmeal milk as part of your liquid and some honey? It smells like delicious cookies.

Do you need to freeze the puree to a slush like you do milk i order to lessen the coloration/ reaction with the lye, or just put in as is?

Really Soapbuddy this was suppose to be about me I never did get any other answers because everyone was so excited with your comment That does sound good, but I am concerned the scent will not be strong enough for my clients. I use lots of organic pumpkin puree in my pumpkin soap, but the smell is never strong enough for my people I will figure it out and post picks, well only if they come nice

Sweetcakes has a Pumpkin Spice FO. It says it contains vanilla, so I'm guessing it does turn some degree of brown, but it doesn't say whether it's dark or light.

Maybe you could pull out the soap you want to make orange before you add the FO.
