Beautiful oatmeal soap, SunnySide! Love the texture that the ground oatmeal gives the soap.

Have fun with your new mold! I make small batches for myself and family, so I use a smaller 3-pound mold. I'm sure you'll love your BB 12" mold, though. And good luck on starting your small business!

Irena, your soap looks good enough to eat! Very beautiful

Sunnyside, great looking soaps! The mitre box is a good way to go, you're gonna have a lot of fun playing around with soap

My mother-in-law was visiting last week and she wanted to try soapmaking. Here is what we made:

The plain Jane soap is scented with a Lavender Basil FO from WSP and it smells so fresh and clean! The other is a Tropical Spice FO, also from WSP. Both FOs behaved perfectly...Thank goodness

Isn't it fun to share with someone. Making soap with a friend is such a fun time! ljm how do you like that tropical spice fro? Did it A or D in your SP batch?

@mella - the tropical spice reminds me a lot of BBs white ginger & amber FO. It soaped very well and so far hasn't really discolored because of the vanilla in it.

Beautiful, ljm! Lavender Basil sounds fantastic. BB sent me a free sample of their Lavender and Herb FO in an order a while back and it smells fantastic - I wonder if it's similar? Haven't tried it yet - I need to use up some of the FOs I have before I buy more! Love the swirls in the Tropical Spice, too. It must have been fun sharing soaping with your mother-in-law.
