Here are a couple of pics of my first honey soap. The soap is made with olive, coconut, and palm oils and shea butter. I also added Florida Orange Blossom honey (1 tsp. ppo) and some gold mica, hoping for a golden honey color. I laid some bubble wrap on the bottom of my slab mold before pouring.

I love honey in soap - it feels so nice on the skin! I can't wait to try this one out. :)

Looks good! When I made mine, the bubble wrap imprint was only on the top of the soap as they were made in a log mold.

Love your honey soap, jrose! What a great idea to use bubble wrap for the honeycomb texture. (I miss the orange blossom honey - I need to get my mother in law to bring some up when she comes next week!)

cat those swirls are gorgeous! What fragrance did you use?

Gorgeous swirls cat040876, what did you scent with? Love the colors.

It's a EO blend I made up, mainly cedarwood and star anise, then some vanilla, patchouli, clary sage, cassia & clove. Soaperstar helped me give it a name to this soap (I've been calling it the manly soap, I know, I'm not good at names), it is now called Dark Star (star anise) like a bad boy dark knight!

Thank you, soapbuddy, cat, ljm, and FarmScapeGoods for the compliments on my honey soap. :)

Cat, your Dark Star soap is stunning! Beautiful swirls. And the EO combination sounds wonderful!

Very nice soap KomfyKate! I especially like the Wake Up soap with the coffee and chocolate ^_^ Sounds loverly!

I also made some soap this weekend :)
This is Castille in the Nude soap

I made two 1 lb batches, one using a light colored olive oil and the other using a dark colored olive oil and swirled them together. Nothing else was added to this batch and I'm delighted that the olive oil scent is coming through nicely :)
