Just on a side note, is fractionated coconut oil ever considered to be drying (not in CP of course, but in other uses)?

Palm kernel, babassu and coconut are your 3 main cleansing oils so you probably only need to use ONE of those (pick the cheapest if you can).

Avocado oil is super good for the skin so if you have access to that it would help for sure. Here's a really great article on formulating your recipes with different oils, including how to pick your "base" oils and your "extras" or conditioning oils. Remember too that just a little bit of castor oil will give you some nice bubbles in most soaps:
