I was trying to make liquid castille soap as a base for other things like dish soap laundry soap handsoap etc. But well it never traced after an hour I gave up. I threw it in the jar just in case you guys can give me an idea on how to save it. Otherwise I'll just toss it. But if it is unsaveable do you guys know a good liquid castille recipe and directions? I tried usig soap shavings for my dishsoap but it had horrible texture and on the third week started to smell funny I did use my castille shaving I don't think that makes a difference though, I could use one of my coconut bars but we like those too much LOL.

Oh and since I didn't clarify the soap shavings were for the dish soap recipe NOT the liquid castille recipe. The recipe I used was 1/2 c lye, 2c OO, and 12 c water for the liquid recipe
