This is the response I got.
I wish they had posted pics of the true color of the soap after it cured instead of right after it being freshly cut

"That fragrance is a discoloring fragrance so after a while the soap can
discolor. I believe those pictures were taken while the soap was still
pretty freshly made, it did darken up later."

I had this exact same problem, and was bummed out when it turned brown. I thought about maybe adding a bit more of the white or simply adding black colorants to get it away from the brown.

Now, if my partner will allow me to make a soap that is black and blue, a color pattern that she says "does not go together".... But, hey, I've seen "What Not to Wear," and they have allowed that color combination in clothes before!

I did the Blue Man Recipe with a twist in order to get away from the browning of the soap. Not that I made some brown soap, I really did not want this one to brown.

Hehe, I'm definitely in the dreaming category of the soaper :lol:

I can't tell you how many times I go to Brambleberry, Nature's Garden, or other soap supplier sites and load up the cart only to have to delete it

I just don't have the funds to make them all... or I would have to put myself in the two batches a day (or more!) type of soaper! I just love seeing all the pretty soaps online and I love the gray and red combo you have there, nomdesavon. Very cool!
