Hello guys... anybody here have tried to make an oatmeal soap? can you share guys how you did it?

I just use my regular recipes and add about 1 tablespoon (per pound of oils) of finely ground oatmeal at trace.

Me too! Just had to say that!! lol!

Fragrance with BB Oatmeal Milk and Honey! With a few whole oats on top. Ground fine in bar like lavenderlady and soapbuddy.

@ljm1180, soapbuddy, and mella: thanks guys for all your comments. With your similar comments, i think my ground oatmeal is too much for that my batch..because i put 40g for the 500g oils...that is equivalent to 1/2 cup oatmeal for 1.1 pound of oil.

Mella, you are so funny! :lol:

If it's usable it might make a good garden soap for cleaning very dirty hands & feet. I have some I made with lots of coarsely ground oatmeal that works great for when I come in from gardening.

@mella: what do mean with by this mella -- "Wash YOUR Mouth Out Soap with Oatmeal"!!!. if im not good as you and if im asking for help here, its because im new to this and i have no idea at all on this soap making, so i ask for help here...

You need to use regular oatmeal, the kind that needs cooking for a long period of time.
