So far I have only used natural colorants (clays, herbs) in my CP soaps and I don’t know how to go about choosing a particular color. I’m looking for a light turquoise color similar to this~

any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

That looks like an FD&C color or Lab Color. Take a look at BrambleBerry http://www.brambleberry.com/LabColors-C171.aspx
Be aware that those roses will all turn brown over time.

yes the Aqua Pearl Mica and Aqua labcolor looks about right... does anyone have any photos of their lovely soaps using any of these colorants?

PS~ SB, what makes the roses turn brown even when they are on top of the soap? Does the lye eventually make its way to them?
