Most of the comercial soaps formulated for hunters, among being comercial detergents

are scent killers. They are meant to strip away the scent on your body. I can't use them with my very grumpy skin, and in the cold of the season, my Hubber gets really dry, sometimes chapped skin from using it. I don't mind washing our gear in the uv/sent killers, but not on our skin.
Anise is good to cover the human scent, and from what I read, the deer like it. Some of the treat licks we put out on the farm for them during the winter (after the season of corse) have anise in them, some are also apple candy, candy cane, and acorn. They love the candy licks, so that's why I want to explore other scents for our soap.
