Please help! I live in Alaska and I am having a hard time getting them. I know that I can get some sent up here but a lot of the ones I want have the lower flash points so I can't get them shippe to me. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Yes. I am getting some from them but it is the ones with lower flash points that I cant get up here due to shipping regulations So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for Alaska. Thanks however

@ SoapySmith - I don't know if EOs have flashpoints (the lowest temperature at which a liquid will give off sufficient vapor to ignite momentarily on application of a flame), but fragrance oils do and many of them can only be shipped via "ground" transport like Fed X - no air transport allowed. This might be why appy101 can't get some of them delivered to her.

Thank you so much! I will try them. I keep reading the information offered on sites and alot of them have notes like low flash point can not ship out of lower 48. I was starting to get a little discourged. This makes me feel much better.

Some essential oil have a low flashpoint as well; citrus oils for example. Not all vendors are aware that some EO's or FO's are not safe to ship with a lower flashpoint. They could end up with a very hefty fine if they get caught, or something explodes.

WOW, I cannot believe that you have not had issues with the flash points! It is most certainly against the USPS and FFA regulations to send low level flash points via their methods, they must be sent by ground transportation only. You would think that these businesses would all KNOW that and conform to the regulations! Another reason BB is TOPS!

That is true. There are some low flashpoint Fragrances that we will not ship outside of the lower 48 US States. They must only be shipped FedEx Ground. Alaska, Hawaii and PR can not order them.

However, there are some medium flashpoint oils that are ok to ship there via FedEx, but not USPS as their regulations are different.
