I'm planning on making a batch of shave cream (first to test on myself) and I wasn't sure if I needed to add a preservative to the Foaming Bath Butter. I plan on adding some Kaolin Clay for slip as well as some Vitamin E oil and just a couple of drops of fragrance.

This is where I wanted to start but this will be my first batch. Was going to start small and test until I was happy, but any input would be great since I'm just starting the testing phase.

If it's a shave cream that you made yourself, I would add a preservative. If it's a pre-made bath butter, it should already have it.

Ok, thanks. I was planning on using BB's Foaming Bath Butter. But if I don't have to add a preservative, even better!
