PJ is an awesome soaper and a pretty frequent poster on this forum. You can PM her. =) We sell a tool kit at BB as well, but the one PJ sells is bigger and has more tools.

When I am layering soap like you mentioned I do multiple pours. So you do the first pour, wait until it thickens, spritz with rubbing alcohol and do your next pour. (Don't pour too hot or it will melt the first pour). Keep doing this until you have colored all the layers.

Soap paints is another option. I am not a huge fan myself though, because the colors don't last that long when someone goes to actually use the soap.

PJ is the owner, artist and CEO of . She specializes in decorative theme soaps in M&P. She created the Melt and Pour toolkit that Brambleberry sells which can be found here , which is the same toolkit that Haven is talking about, although PJ also sells a more comprehensive toolkit on her website. She was also one of the instructors at the Brambleberry Soap Weekend Intensive and is one of the best M&P soapmakers out there today.

For what you want to do, go to www.TeachSoap.com and check out or . The double pour method should work for your turtles and ladybugs, and the color blend method would be perfect for the fall leaves mold.

Wow, Thanks Amy & A-M for the kind words. The tool kit BB sells was designed especially to do as much as possible while keeping the price really low. So really the best place to get the kit at the moment is at BB.

And like Anne-Marie was saying, in some cases you don't even need tools to get this effect, you can just tip the mold for geometric designs

or even designs like this that show different shades:
