Oh my goodness, go away for a few weeks and come back to such fine soaps. You all have had a grand soaping time and all of these are so lovely, wow~~! I better get going too, been really lazy, well that and catchng up in the yard.

Been wanting to make a pine tar soap for a while, yesterday finally I took the plunge. The process was quite uneventful, I was worried about fast trace but it took for ever to do so, I added lavender EO to lessen the strong pine tar smell, maybe that is what delayed tracing. I am happy with the result, the picture is pretty dark, the soap in reality looks a couple of shades lighter more like a milk chocolate bar. Just wanted to share this with you all. Has anyone else tried pine tar soap? what are your experiences?

That's some dark bar peppermint. Looks like chocolate.

It actually looks darker in the photo that its actual color, can't wait to try the soap it has a funky smell like smokey pine but not as bad as I thought it would be, the lavender EO's must have dull the scent of pine a bit. Can't wait to give it to some of my friends suffering from psoriasis and eczemas and see if it works

My visualizations recently are toward doing a lavender soap but haven't quite gotten there yet! I keep getting stuck on what to mix with my lave 40/42.

Here is a recent clay and mica soap. French Pink Clay, White Kaolin, Red Moroccan with a touch of black mica makes the milk chocolate color. Au natural to the point of fragrance with is a mix of 2 eo's and 1 fo cardamom orange and pineapple mint.

mella, those are gorgeous!

I'm doing the q-tip test on a lavender and tea tree blend, but I'm not sure I like it...
