When you enter a 7% superfat in the soapcal for BB does it give you a lye discount of 7% ?

7% superfat and 7% lye discount are the same thing.

You don't add extra 7% of your oils, you go by the total of your recipe. There is no need to add anything at trace, since the lye will take whatever it wants. There is no guarantee that any particular oil or butter will end up as your superfat. You probably knew that already.

If you're not sure about a particular soap calc, input your recipe into another, like The Sage lye calc. There, after you put in the ingredients and hit calculate, it will show you your superfat on the right hand side of the page.
