Teach Soap

I made some soap using GV Shortening. The shortening ingredients are:
beef tallow, palm oil, vegetable mono-and diglycerides, BHA, propyl gallate and citric acid to protect flavor, dimethylpolysiloxane (anti-foaming agent)

How does this get listed on a soap label?
Also, how do you label ultramarine colors?

I do not know about others, but I always list all my ingredients on the label, I would list it just as you did in your question. You never know what dyes, etc., people are sensitive too such I would rather give full disclosure.

You will need to list all the ingredients. You can list ultramarine the same way.

If you are labeling your soap, which you do not need to do, but if you are, then you need to label it with all the ingredients. So listing the lard ingredients is correct. As for the colorants. You may list it as "ultramarine blue" or whatever color you have. Fragrances can be listed as just "fragrance", and goes before your colorant, which goes at the end of your list (and you need not to worry about its order or the amount). Thanks, soapbuddy. Tammy, thanks for the link. I knew to list my oxides as iron oxides, but wasn't sure about the ultramarines. I've been listing my ingredients from most to least amounts.
