I finally made the recipe for the whipped cream soap I found Snowdrifts website! I think it turned out good, I scented it with peppermint and lime. How are these types of recipes formulated? This recipe used both types of lye mostly KOH

I make cream soap on a regular basis. I find the one from Snowdrift sadly lacking. There is a cream soap group on Yahoo that has excellent recipes.

I tried to join the'cream soap' group on yahoo but never heard back from them, but then it was shortly before my computer crashed. Still I would have thought that their message would have been waiting in my e-mail once I was back on line. This is still on my to do list!

Here's a tutorial on making and formulating cream soap. She also explains how to use soapcalc for your cream soap recipes.
